Yes, cycling is a gift for those of us who have the ability to choose how we spend our time. It allows us the opportunity to escape from the trials and troubles of our everyday lives and to explore new horizons. It takes us back to those easy going and untroubled days of childhood, when we would ride into the hills and take on the forest tracks with friends, as a cacophony of happy voices reverberated amidst the trees and drifted off across the nearby hills. It reflects the happiness that cycling can bring to so many people in so places amazing places.
