Last

MX Race Last –Featuring a slightly narrower toe box & tighter heel than our Competition last, and less overall volume than the Sport last, this is a shoe designed for racers, wanting a lightweight and close fitting ‘second-skin’ shoe that will help to speed them along. It’s designed for very high-cadence riding, with a slimmer and stylish performance fit, perfect for high-adrenaline, racing off-road.

Outsole

Inclusive of our renowned Lake Race last, we’ve used 100% Carbon Fiber for super stiffness and performance, along with the added benefits on all terrain types, of a secure and stable rubber off-road patterned sole. Additionally, our durable and grippy TPU lugs, give you a provision for toe spikes to keep your feet firmly planted on the pedals and the technical terrain of gravel and trail-riding.

Lining

This race-ready gravel bike and off-road adventure shoe has a super lightweight Clarino Microfiber upper, alongside mesh panels that allow the foot to breath, whilst also helping your feet to dry out rapidly, once the obvious terrain water hazards are out of the way! It’ll keep your feet cool and dry, allowing you to concentrate on speed and smiles all day long.

Closure

Classic and stylishly simple, the laces on our new MX20G create a durable and easily replaceable closure system that will offer unlimited and ultimate customization for fit and comfort. Most Asked Questions

What makes the MX20G ideal for gravel riders who need both performance and comfort?

The MX20G balances lightweight performance and comfort, featuring a Clarino microfiber upper with breathable mesh panels to keep your feet cool and dry on long rides. While it's great for pedaling efficiency and fit, the upper isn't designed for highly rugged or abrasive terrain, so it's best suited for smoother gravel routes.

How does the sole design of the MX20G enhance traction on gravel surfaces?

The MX20G features a rubber outsole with a gravel-specific tread pattern that provides reliable grip on loose and uneven terrain. Small, aggressive lugs add extra traction for off-bike sections. Just note—the upper isn’t built for rugged abuse, so it’s best for rides that don’t involve heavy hike-a-bike or rocky scrambles.

How do your mountain bike shoes fit?

They provide a close, supportive fit with added protection for off-road use. We offer multiple width and last options to match your foot shape.

Are the BOA® dials and other parts replaceable?

Yes. BOA® dials are replaceable, and many shoes include removable toe spikes or replaceable tread sections for longevity.

What pedal systems are MTB shoes compatible with?

All of our MTB shoes use the 2-bolt cleat pattern, making them compatible with SPD and other off-road 2-bolt pedal systems.

Are they grippy off the bike?

Yes. Aggressive tread and durable rubber outsoles give you reliable traction when walking or carrying your bike on rugged terrain.

Are these shoes suitable for long trail rides?

Absolutely. They’re built for all-day support, durability, and protection on rough and technical trails.

Do they protect well against rocks and debris?

Yes. Reinforced toe boxes and abrasion-resistant materials help guard your feet in tough riding environments.

Are these shoes good for bikepacking?

Yes. The blend of pedaling efficiency and walkability makes them ideal for multi-day adventures and bikepacking trips.
