Description

The MX333 is evolution of the mountain bike shoe, with comfort, performance and style in perfect harmony. We’ve used over 40 years of experience to bring you the best technologies, such as a Carbitex arch support panel, and a heat moldable internal Thermaform Carbon Fiber heel counter, to give you the most secure fit possible. We believe that we’ve achieved the impossible, by wrapping your feet in a performance oriented, lighter-weight second-skin, whilst giving you breathability and increased off-road durability, alongside our legendary Lake cycling comfort.

Last

MX Race Last –Featuring a slightly narrower toe box & tighter heel than our Competition last, and less overall volume than the Sport last. Our MX Race Last creates a shoe designed for cross country mountain bike racers, looking for speed across the technical tracks and trails in the hills. It allows us to produce a lightweight and close fitting ‘second-skin’ mountain biking shoe, that will give you total control of the trail ahead. It’s designed for very high-cadence riding, with a slimmer and stylish performance fit, perfect for high-adrenaline, mountain bike racing.

Outsole

Inclusive of our renowned Lake Race last, we’ve used 100% Carbon Fiber for super stiffness and performance, along with the added benefits on all terrain types, of a secure and stable rubber off-road patterned sole. Additionally, our durable and grippy TPU lugs give you a provision for toe spikes to keep your feet firmly planted on the pedals and the technical terrain of trail-riding.

Lining

This shoe gives you a choice between light weight Clarino Microfiber or an extremely durable helcor leather upper. Both options provide you with a Carbitex Medial Support panel for a secure fit and an Outlast temperature regulating heel and a tongue liner. The internal Thermaform Carbon Fiber heel counter adds to the secure fit and stability on mixed terrain. Our MX333 draws from the same Thermaform technology as found in the leading CX403 shoe.

The Internal heel counter is heat moldable carbon, giving the option to better customize the heel hold. A secure heel will stabilize the foot and eliminate heel slip, increasing comfort, power transfer and a reduction in fatigue, through a more stable foot.

Closure

BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion.

Additionally, the plush leather tongue provides a comforting barrier against the secure grip of the BOA® closure system.
